NATO sec gen promises political, practical help to Kyiv

KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax) - NATO will continue to help Ukraine politically and practically, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Brussels on Thursday, Stoltenberg said NATO is helping Ukraine reinforce its navy and ensure cyber-security.

The alliance has allocated about 40 million euros for Ukraine, which has been granted via trust funds, and NATO will continue this assistance, he said.
