MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax-AVN) - NPO Energomash has supplied five RD-181 rocket engines to the U.S. company Orbital Sciences Corporation in 2018, the company told Interfax-AVN on Friday.
"Three RD-181 engines were supplied to the American customer on December 12," the company said. The relevant documents were signed on December 5.
"This is the second batch delivered in 2018. In June 2018, the client received two RD-181 engines," Energomash said.
The RD-181 liquid-fuel rocket engine was designed and built by Energomash for U.S. Antares launch vehicles.
