DAMASCUS. Dec 14 (Interfax) - Russia and Syria have signed a number of cooperation documents, including commercial agreements on the prospecting and extraction of hydrocarbons, according to the Russian secretariat of the bilateral intergovernmental commission.
"A number of interagency and commercial documents were signed at the meeting. These include a memorandum between the industry and trade ministries of Russia and Syria that defines key cooperation areas," a representative of the secretariat said.
The two ministries also prepared, approved, and signed a roadmap of industrial cooperation, the representative said.
"A number of commercial agreements, including ones on the exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons, were signed," the representative said.
