MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - Problems in the execution of the state defense contract must be quickly identified, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Over the past few years, we have built an almost optimal system of interaction between our Defense Ministry and defense suppliers. We strengthened discipline in all key areas. Now we need to promptly identify the remaining problems in the execution of the defense order and solve them quickly," Putin said at the meeting of the Defense Ministry collegium on Tuesday.
It is also "necessary to ensure effective control over the implementation of the state armament program," he said.
