GENEVA. Dec 18 (Interfax) - The talks in Geneva over the formation of a Syrian constitutional committee are going normally, the meeting is not being dragged out, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said.
"No, we have only just begun," Cavusoglu said, responding to a question from Interfax about the course of the negotiation.
He declined to give an assessment of the approval process for the committee membership and suggested waiting until the end of the meeting.
The foreign ministers of Russia, Iran and Turkey and the UN special envoy for the Syria crisis, Stefan de Mistura, have been holding talks for about two hours now. The negotiators have now gone for a working lunch and will resume talks afterwards.
