LUHANSK. Dec 18 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces have deployed artillery weapons outside houses in the Krasnyi Pakhar village in Donbas, Yakiv Osadchiy, a spokesman for the people's militia of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), said.
"The Ukrainian military continue massing prohibited weapons and military hardware in close proximity to the combat contact line," Osadchiy told reporters on Tuesday.
LPR reconnaissance units saw six 152mm Akatsiya and three 122mm Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems from the Ukrainian 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade in the courtyards of houses in Krasnyi Pakhar, the spokesman said.
In addition, "Ukraine's military-political leadership has not abandoned its intentions to resolve the Donbas conflict militarily and to this end is resorting to the services of foreign mercenaries," Osadchiy said.
"Our data is that a group of up to 15 military instructors from the United States and Canada were spotted in the area where the 2nd battalion of the 14th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is deployed in the village of Popasna," the LPR militia spokesman said.
