MOSCOW. Dec 20 (Interfax-AVN) - The French military satellite CSO-1 has been put into a sun-synchronous orbit with an altitude of 800 kilometers, and its owner has taken over control of it, Roscosmos reported on Wednesday evening.
"The CSO-1 satellite has been put into a sun-synchronous orbit with an altitude of 800 kilometers," it said.
"A Soyuz ST-A launch vehicle (manufacturer: Progress) and the Fregat-M upper stage (manufacturer: NPO Lavochkin) have fulfilled the flight program faultlessly. The customer has taken over control of the device," it said.
