MOSCOW. Dec 21 (Interfax) - Two Black Sea Fleet submarines are holding pursuit and stealth movement drills in the waters of the Black Sea, the fleet's spokesperson said on Friday.
"During the bilateral exercise, the crew of one submarine will be drilling chase escape while the crew of the second one will be keeping it up for as long as possible," Captain 2nd rank Alexei Rulyov said.
Under the water, both should be going with maximum stealth, he said.
"On finding the enemy submarine each combat shift is allowed to steer the sub to keep pursuing while remaining unnoticeable," Rulyov said.
The exercise is part of the Black Sea Fleet's combat training plan and aimed at raising the personnel's professional level, he said.
