Avangard missile complex reaches Mach 27 velocity during trials - Deputy PM Borisov

MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax) - Russia's new missile complex, Avangard, has reached Mach 27 velocity during trials, according to Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov.

"Its velocity neared Mach 30 during the latest trials; it was moving at a speed of Mach 27," Borisov told the television channel Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) in an interview.
