MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) - The goal of upcoming talks between the defense and foreign ministers of Russia and Turkey in Moscow on Saturday is to synchronize the two countries' actions in Syria, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday.
"Russian-Turkish contacts will take place. The objective of these contacts will be to bring full clarity and synchronize the sides' actions and understanding as regards the further development of the situation in Syria," he said.
Peskov gave a negative answer when asked whether the Russian and Turkish defense and foreign ministers could also meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
