MOSCOW. Jan 9 (Interfax) - Russian space rocket companies have started building a super-heavy lift launch vehicle of the Yenisei class, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin said.
The rocket should be built by 2028, Rogozin said on Twitter.
"A detailed timeline of the development of a super-heavy lift launch vehicle (Yenisei class) by 2028 was signed today. The developers include the S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia (the Moscow region), the Progress Rocket Space Center (Samara), and the Khrunichev Space Center (Moscow) - with regard to the development of the third stage," Rogozin said.
