MOSCOW. Jan 10 (Interfax) - Russia plans to send a spacecraft to the moon in 2021, Roscosmos head Dmitry Rogozin said.
"We have decided to restore the lunar program. We are sending the first spacecraft to the moon in 2021," Rogozin said on Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) television.
"The next spacecraft, Luna-26 and Luna-27, will fly in 2023 and 2024, respectively," he said.
"Among other things, there will be practice of landing and takeoff techniques from the lunar surface," Rogozin said.
