TASHKENT. Jan 16 (Interfax) - Russian Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova said she has received a response from the UN and the Council of Europe regarding the case involving RIA Novosti Ukraine head Kirill Vyshinsky, in which they express concerns about the situation and say they are ready to put questions to the Ukrainian administration.
"I have received a response from the UN and the Council of Europe saying that they are concerned about this situation. They are ready to raise these issues in two-format dialogue with the state leadership or Ukrainian state institutions," Moskalkova, who is on a visit to Uzbekistan, told reporters on Wednesday.
She said that this problem is important to her and that she is ready to continue working to resolve it.
"It is very important to us, too. We will continue this work, including with the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders, asking them to assist with the [medical] evaluation of Kirill Vyshinsky," Moskalkova said.
