DAMASCUS. Jan 17 (Interfax) - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has pledged to give preferences to Russian companies in reconstruction projects, Dmitry Sablin, the coordinator of the Duma-Syria friendship group, said after talks with al-Assad.
"President al-Assad has reaffirmed that Russian companies will receive preferences in Syrian reconstruction projects," Sablin told the press.
