MOSCOW. Jan 18 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin and the Lebanese prime minister's advisor George Shaaban have discussed military-technical cooperation, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
"At the meeting, the parties discussed security in the Middle East, as well as the process of Syrian refugees' return to places of their permanent residence in the Syrian Arab Republic," it said.
"The current state and the prospects of the development of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation were also addressed during talks," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere and confirmed the parties' readiness for further development of cooperation via defense ministries," it said.
