Syrian Air Defense hits 7 Israeli missiles - Russian military

MOSCOW. Jan 21 (Interfax-AVN) - The crews of the Syrian army's air defense systems have downed seven Israeli missiles, the Russian National Defense Control Center said.

"The Air Defense Force of the Syrian Arab Army repelled an air attack from the Israeli Air Force on the Duvali international airport in southeastern Damascus. Surface-to-air missile systems Pantsyr and Buk destroyed seven Israeli missiles," the Center said.

Pantsyr and Buk are Russian-made air defense systems.
