HMEIMIM (Syria). Jan 21 (Interfax) - A serviceman of the Syrian government forces has been injured in the attack of militants on the town of Eyn-al-Naur in the Latakia province, according to the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria.
"A serviceman of the Syrian Armed Forces has been injured as a result of militants' attack on Eyn-al-Naur in the Latakia province," Center head Lt. Gen. Sergei Solomatin said at a press briefing.
According to Solomatin, the militants operating in the Idlib de-escalation area have also attacked Nahshabba in the Latakia province and Zalaqiyat in the Hama province. He said the attacks continued despite the declared ceasefire.
The amnesty of military service dodgers, including refugees and former members of illegal armed units, is continuing in Syria, Solomatin said. As many as 28,184 persons have been amnestied as of January 19, he said.
