VLADIVOSTOK. Jan 23 (Interfax) - A meeting between Russian Ambassador to North Korea Alexander Matsegora and Councilor of the North Korean Ministry of People's Security (in the rank of deputy minister) Ri Song Chol focused on broadening cooperation in the field of law enforcement, the Russian embassy said on Facebook on Wednesday.
The sides exchanged proposals of mutual trips of national delegations and agreed to assist in implementing relevant agreements.
Ri told Matsegora about results of his recent visit to Moscow and meetings with the leadership of the Russian Interior Ministry. According to the embassy, Russian police officers shared security practices of the FIFA World Cup Moscow with North Korean colleagues. "These practices have a substantial value for North Korea, which is building large clusters for foreign tourists," the embassy said.
