MOSCOW. Jan 23 (Interfax) - The United States is not taking any practical steps toward withdrawing its troops from Syria, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.
"As far as we see, no tangible measures have been undertaken to implement this decision," Zakharova said at a news briefing in Moscow on Wednesday.
"It is extremely important not to allow tensions to grow and worsen in Syria's northeastern districts," she said.
A suicide attack in Manbij on January 16 killed "dozens of people, including four U.S. citizens," including civilian personnel of the U.S. Department of Defense, Zakharova said.
