MOSCOW. Jan 24 (Interfax) - The Venezuelan army supports President Nicolas Maduro, Venezuelan Ambassador to Russia Carlos Faria Tortosa said.
"The army is with us," he said on the television channel Rossiya 24 (VGTRK).
Maduro is also supported by the people of Venezuela, the ambassador said. "People support us, they do not recognize the opposition structures or the self-proclaimed president," he said.
