U.S. sanctions continuation of policy of interference in Venezuela's affairs - Peskov

MOSCOW. Jan 29 (Interfax) - Sanctions imposed by the United States on Venezuela are a continuation of Washington's policy of interference in this country's domestic affairs, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"We believe that it [the introduction of sanctions] is most frequently a manifestation of unfair competition," Peskov told reporters in comments on fresh sanctions imposed by Washington on Venezuela.

"In this case, it is the continuing policy of blatant interference in Venezuela's internal affairs," he said.
