MOSCOW. Jan 29 (Interfax) - The Kremlin was not surprised to learn that Venezuelan parliamentary speaker Juan Guaido and U.S. President Donald Trump had had a conversation, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
While speaking to journalists on Tuesday, Peskov was asked about the Kremlin's opinion of Guaido's statement that he had a conversation with Trump.
"It's quite logical, considering that he has been permanently in touch with Washington and was in touch before the events started unfolding. There is nothing surprising here," Peskov said.
