Russian military reports 9 attacks in Syria's Idlib de-escalation area

HMEIMIM. Jan 30 (Interfax) - The Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria has reported ceasefire violations by militants in the Idlib de-escalation area.

"Militants operating in the Idlib de-escalation area attacked Haysa ash-Shakri, Tell Salhap, Tell Bazam, Tell al-Malah, Zellakiyat, and Masasna in the Hama province, as well as the research center (twice) and the western outskirts of the city of Aleppo," Reconciliation Center head Lt. Gen. Sergei Solomatin said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

On the Syrian president's orders, the authorities continue to amnesty military-service dodgers, including refugees and former members of illegal armed formations. A total of 34,424 people had been amnestied as of January 28, up from 28,184 on January 19.
