Belarus expects to receive 4 Su-30SMs from Russia in 2019 - Belarusian Defense Ministry

MINSK. Jan 30 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Defense Ministry has confirmed plans to receive the first batch of Sukhoi Su-30SM fighters from Russia in 2019.

"There are plans to receive Su-30SMs this year," the ministry told Interfax.

"There is a contract for the delivery of the first four planes," it said.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was informed at the Irkutsk Aircraft Plant on Wednesday that Belarus was preparing to receive the first Su-30SM fighters from Russia this year.
