MOSCOW. Jan 31 (Interfax) - The Foreign Ministry does not have information about claims that an empty Russian airplane was to Venezuela, spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing on Thursday.
"I cannot comment on flights of airplanes that are dispatched for unofficial purposes. What I can say is that an evacuation of Russian diplomats, their families, and employees of Russian companies [from Venezuela] is not being considered," she said.
"I can definitively confirm that. As for airplanes' movements, you shouldn't ask me about it. Ask those who charter them, instead," Zakharova said.
Venezuelan parliamentary representatives said earlier that Russia had sent an empty airplane to their country in order to remove part of the national gold and forex reserves.
