Moscow City Court keeps Ukrainian Davydenko under arrest in spy case until April 11

MOSCOW. Feb 8 (Interfax) - The Moscow City Court has prolonged the arrest of Ukrainian citizen Kostiantyn Davydenko, who is charged with collecting information on the activities of Russian Guard units and special services in Crimea and providing it to Ukrainian special services, until April 11.

"The Moscow City Court has granted the investigators' motion to prolong the detention of Davydenko by two months, until April 11, 2019," the court's press service told Interfax.

He was detained in Simferopol on February 11, 2018.

According to the special services, Davydenko "deliberately collected and provided to Ukrainian special services information on the activities of units of the Federal Service of Russian Guard troops and on Russian Federal Security Service officials, which constitutes a state secret."
