Unclear whether U.S. will withdraw from Syria - Erdogan

SOCHI. Feb 14 (Interfax) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed his doubt that the United States will actually withdraw its troops from Syria.

"As a NATO member, I want to note that on this issue, the U.S. has expressed its decision. This decision has to do with Mr. Trump. But on the other hand, we can see that his colleagues do not share Mr. Trump's opinion," Erdogan said when asked about U.S. plans to withdraw from Syria following talks with the presidents of Russia and Turkey in Sochi.

"Now we see them talking about April, about May. It's still unclear what happens next, whether there will be a withdrawal or not," he said.
