Bomb alert at VDNH exhibition center - source

MOSCOW. Feb 19 (Interfax) - An anonymous call to Moscow's emergency services regarding a threat of explosion at the VDNH exhibition center was received at around 5 p.m., a source acquainted with the situation told Interfax.

"Following the report, all sites at the exhibition center will be checked," the source said.

Earlier, a source told Interfax that over 7,000 people had been evacuated in Moscow in just under two hours for the verification of the bomb threat calls.

The list of locations "planted with mines" includes the Kazansky train station, the Ostankino television tower, a dozen shopping malls, power grid facilities, and the Cosmos Hotel.
