ABU DHABI (UAE). Feb 19 (Interfax) - Russia is completing the delivery of Sukhoi Su-35 fighter aircraft and airborne weapons to China as part of a contract signed several years ago, Viktor Kladov, Rostec's director for international cooperation and regional policy, told Interfax on Tuesday.
"The implementation of the contract for the delivery of Su-35 aircraft is nearing completion. It includes both fighters and airborne weapon systems. It also includes a training package. Our most qualified flight instructors are working together with Chinese colleagues," Kladov said.
According to him, "Chinese troops treat Su-35 aircraft reverently, they said that these engines are magnificent, the best ones in the world." "Pilots are proud of having received such equipment," Kladov said.
He said he visited the airfield, where Su-35 fighters were deployed, "and heard Chinese colleagues' most enthusiastic responses to expertise, skills, knowledge and amiability of Russian pilots."
"The ideal conditions were created for them there, a special camp was built. The social and domestic conditions are very good. The base is in perfect order," Kladov said.
