MOSCOW. Feb 19 (Interfax) - Canadian diplomats have visited U.S. citizen Paul Whelan, who is charged with spying, at the detention center Lefortovo, his brother David said.
"Staff from the Canadian Embassy visited Paul on Thursday, February 14 for about 90 minutes," he told Interfax on Tuesday.
"They were able to confirm that his health and situation is unchanged since the U.S. consular visit the previous week," David Whelan said.
