MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - The creation of a national space center using the existing facilities of the Khrunichev Center will take 3.5 years, Roscosmos head Dmitry Rogozin said.
A total of 20,000 engineers will work there, he said.
"The president has supported the creation of a national space center. Twenty thousand Roscosmos designers and engineers will be gathered in one place," Rogozin told reporters on Wednesday following the presidential address to the Federal Assembly.
"I think it will be done in 3.5 years, according to our calculations," he said.
