Russia to take into account India's wish for S-400 delivery time - FSMTC

BANGALORE (India). Feb 22 (Interfax) - Russia will take into account India's wish for the time of the delivery of S-400 Triumf air defense missile systems, Anatoly Punchuk, a deputy head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC), told Interfax.

"The contract was signed in October 2018, and the delivery would be made on time. The wish expressed by the Indian Defense Ministry regarding the delivery time will be taken into account to the fullest extent," Punchuk said.

This is a crucial contract for Russia and India, "which practically has no precedents in the history of bilateral military-technical cooperation," he said.

"The sides will do everything they can to ensure its timely fulfillment," Punchuk said.
