Bomb scare wave affects Moscow courts, thermal power plants - source

MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) - Some of Moscow's courts and thermal power plants received anonymous bomb threats on Monday morning, a source familiar with the situation told Interfax.

"The wave of bomb threats began around 10:00 a.m. By 11:00 a.m., five Moscow courts and 14 city's thermal power plants received anonymous bomb threats," the source said.

Over 1,000 people have been evacuated due to the threats, the source said.

The press service for the Moscow City Court earlier told Interfax police were inspecting the buildings of the Moscow City Court and the Moscow Gagarinsky District Court due to bomb threats.
