Russia should not expect increase in military products export in coming years - Deputy PM Borisov

BOLSHOI KAMEN (Primorye Territory). Feb 25 (Interfax) - The sanctions pressure will influence Russia's military-technical cooperation and the weapons export should not be expected to increase in the near future, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov said.

"No considerable growth in military products export is expected, especially in a situation of increasing sanctions pressure, both on the Russian Federation and on our foreign partners," Borisov said at a meeting on the defense industry diversification on Monday.

"In the current situation, successful development of defense enterprises depends on a balanced combination of the key components: state defense contracts, military-technical cooperation and civilian products production," he said.
