GROZNY. Feb 26 (Interfax) - A buggy factory has opened on the grounds of a Russian special-forces university in Chechnya.
The Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has been shown six Chaborz buggies which on Wednesday will be sent to Alabino, outside Moscow, to be readied to participation in the May 9 Victory Parade in the Red Square.
A whole host of countries have expressed interest in the Chaborz, and there are concrete agreements on their deliveries to the Middle East and Europe, Kadyrov told reporters. Its tactical-technical characteristics make Chaborz significantly superior to its counterparts made in NATO countries, he said.
The ceremony attendees were also shown two Chaborz vehicles tested in Syrian combat.
The buggies got high marks from Russian servicemen in Syria, Kadyrov's aide in charge of law enforcement, Daniil Martynov said.
