Rogozin: Gazprom, Roscosmos agree on road map for equipment, robots for energy industry, deploying Arctic constellation

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Gazprom and Roscosmos are planning to launch a number of joint projects to build equipment for the fuel and energy industry and deploy a satellite constellation over the Arctic, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin said.

"Gazprom and Roscosmos have agreed upon the road map envisaging specific measures in order to both build energy equipment and robotics as part of the import substitution program in the fuel and energy industry, and to build satellites and deploy an Arctic orbital constellation," Rogozin wrote on Twitter.

Rogozin said in January that Russian space industry enterprises would supply larger quantities of equipment to the oil and gas sector as part of the diversification program.
