MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Israel will do all it can to curb threats posed by Iran to the countries of the region, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
"Iran is the biggest threat to the stability and security of the region. We will do all we can to prevent the realization of this threat, to not allow what Iran is talking about to happen. We will keep on acting," Netanyahu said at negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Wednesday.
Netanyahu mentioned the good level of bilateral relations between Israel and Russia. In particular, he mentioned a strong tourist flow to Israel from Russia and the successful implementation of a bilateral pensions agreement.
