MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Russia saw a 17% decline in the rate of extremist crime last year, but such crimes were committed in practically every region of the country, President Vladimir Putin said at the annual meeting of the Interior Ministry Board on Thursday.
"The total number of extremist crimes which were registered reduced by almost 17% in 2018. However, such crimes were observed in practically every region of Russia in some shape or form," Putin said.
