MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Russia's Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with a senior member of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD), Khaled Issa, on Thursday to discuss the situation in Syria, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
The pair discussed the developments in and around Syria with an emphasis on the problem of the country's integrity and ensuring full and equal participation in the intra-Syrian negotiation by Kurdish representatives alongside other ethno-religious Syrian groups, the ministry said.
