Rocket-engine holding company be created around NPO Energomash - Roscosmos Supervisory Board's decision (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - The supervisory board of the state space corporation Roscosmos has decided to set up a rocket-engine holding company around NPO Energomash, the office of Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov told Interfax on Thursday.

"A decision has been made to create an integrated structure for rocket engine building on the basis of NPO Energomash," the office said.

The new entity will also include OJSC Proton-PM (Perm territory), Chemical Automatics Design Bureau (KBKhA, Voronezh region), Research and Development Institute of Mechanical Engineering (NIIMash, Sverdlovskaya region), Chemical Engineering Design Bureau (KBKhM, Moscow region) and Fakel Design Bureau (Kaliningrad region).

"Organizing and legal events will take place in three stages and be completed in the second quarter of 2020," the office said.
