Armenia plans to sign 6th partnership program with NATO in spring 2020 - Foreign Ministry

YEREVAN. March 11 (Interfax) - Armenia and NATO are completing the fifth Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) program and the sixth program, covering the 2020-2022 period, may be signed in spring 2020, Armen Yedigaryan, the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry's arms control and international security department, said.

"We are in the final stage of the fifth IPAP program. The work on the sixth program will begin in the second half of 2019. The program covers the 2020-2022 period," Yedigaryan told a briefing at the NATO Week events in Armenia on Monday.

The sixth program may be signed in April-May 2020, he said.
