Dummy grenade found in Israeli woman's luggage at Sheremetyevo airport

MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax) - A dummy F-1 grenade was seized from an Israeli woman at the Sheremetyevo airport, a spokesperson for the Russian Interior Ministry's transport department told Interfax on Tuesday, adding that the item did not pose any danger.

"A dummy F-1 grenade with a certificate of compliance was found in an Israeli woman's luggage," the spokesperson said.

The item did not pose any danger to other passengers, he said. The incident did not affect airport operations.

According to earlier media reports, a dummy F-1 grenade was found in the luggage of an Israeli woman who was preparing to board a Tel Aviv -bound flight at the Sheremetyevo airport.
