Roscosmos head, NASA associate administrator discuss new projects, ISS

BAIKONUR. March 14 (Interfax) - Roscosmos head Dmitry Rogozin and NASA Associate Administrator for Human Exploration and Operations William Gerstenmaier have discussed Russian-U.S. cooperation in the International Space Station (ISS) project and other areas of interaction in Baikonur, a Roscosmos spokesman told Interfax.

"Yes, the meeting has taken place. They have discussed pressing ISS affairs and further cooperation," the spokesman said.

It was reported earlier that Rogozin might meet with NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine in Baikonur on March 14. The oral invitation was conveyed to the U.S. in a teleconference, but Bridenstine did not come to the Baikonur Cosmodrome for reasons unknown to Russia.
