MOSCOW. March 19 (Interfax) - Two small missile ships, Moroz and Razliv, fired missile and artillery and destroyed mock enemy naval and aerial targets during an exercise in the Avacha Bay in the Kamchatka region, the Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet stated on Tuesday.
"The Razliv crew fired surface-to-air missiles from the Osa system against a surface target simulating a mock enemy ship before firing missiles against a mock aerial target," the statement said.
Meanwhile, the Moroz crew fired artillery and destroyed a naval running-deer target.
Next, on another training range, the Moroz crew practiced repelling a "hostile" airstrike by firing artillery against an aerial target.
"Also today the small missile ships' artillerymen used artillery to destroy a mock naval floating mine which posed danger to marine navigation," the statement said.
