MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - Russia does not have absolute certainty that the United States will not use force against Venezuela, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Wednesday.
"Unfortunately, we are not fully certain that the Americans are ready to take the logic where there is no room for a military action, including outside interference of low intensity," Ryabkov told Interfax following consultations with U.S. officials on Venezuela in Rome.
"I do hope that our signal on the unacceptability of a military action, which, if it takes place, will be a massive violation of the norms and principles of international law, that this signal will be heard," Ryabkov said.
