MOSCOW. March 22 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Defense Minister Col. Gen. Alexander Fomin received the chairman of the Swedish cross-party parliamentary defense commission, Bjorn von Sydow, who is visiting Russia, in Moscow on Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry stated.
"There was an exchange of views on European security issues," the statement said.
Fomin also informed his Swedish interlocutor on Russia's evaluations of the relations between it and NATO, the statement said.
The pair also discussed bilateral military interaction.
The meeting was constructive, the ministry said.
