MOSCOW. March 22 (Interfax) - The Russian Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov on Friday received Israeli Ambassador Gary Koren at the latter's request, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated on Friday.
The pair "exchanged views on pressing regional problems including Syrian settlement issues and the situation in Israeli-Palestinian affairs. [The diplomats] also touched on several practical aspects of the Russian-Israeli wide-ranging relationship," the statement said.
