MOSCOW. March 22 (Interfax) - Artillery units from the Black Sea Fleet's army corps are conducting battery artillery duels as part of a field trip to five training sites across Crimea, the fleet's spokesman Captain 2nd rank Alexei Rulev told Interfax on Friday.
"On finishing the field trip the artillerymen will conduct bilateral brigade-wide tactical exercises involving a separate coastal-defense brigade from the fleet's naval infantry, with artillery live fire, amphibious landing onto an unprepared shore and artillery units testing various warfare techniques," Rulev said.
The artillery exercise involves "over 20 battery artillery units" armed with the Grad multiple rocket launcher the Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, the spokesman said.
