Russian, Lebanese presidents to discuss situation in Mideast in light of Trump's decision on Golan - Peskov

MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Lebanese President Michel Aoun will definitely discuss the situation in the Middle East, including in light of Washington's decision on the Golan Heights' status, during their negotiations in the Kremlin on Tuesday, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

Asked whether the Russian and Lebanese leaders will discuss U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights at the talks in the Kremlin, Peskov said, "Definitely."
