MOSCOW. April 9 (Interfax) - A joint anti-terrorist exercise of the security services of the CIS member states will take place in the seven member states this September, the press bureau of the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center said.
"The Ararat Anti-Terror 2019 anti-terrorist exercise will take place in the seven CIS member states. Its two final stages will be held in Armenia in September," the press bureau said in a statement obtained by Interfax on Tuesday following staff negotiations in Yerevan to discuss preparations of the joint exercise.
Security agencies and special services of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan will participate in the exercise.
Units of the Russian Armed Forces' Southern Military District are to be involved in the completion of objectives of the third stage of the exercise.
